Hang (or Eric) is currently a master’s student in transportation engineering. His research interests lie in next-generation solutions at the intersection of transportation systems, environmental sustainability, emerging AI technology, and evidence-based policy design. He is interested in the modeling of transportation systems towards sustainability, economic efficiency, social benefits and human safety.

Outside of research, he enjoys reading and creative writing, music (classical, R&B, K-pop, C-pop), sports (table tennis, basketball, fitness), and strategic games (Legends of the Three Kingdoms). He is a great fan of Chinese Wuxia novels (Jin Yong, Woon Swee Oan). He is an enthusiast of modern and contemporary Chinese literature. He is also an enthusiast of traditional Chinese culture.
