Marco Pruckner is a Professor for Modeling and Simulation at the Institute of Computer Science at the Julius-Maximilians-University Wuerzburg, Germany. His research addresses systems challenges in different domains, from energy systems to mobility systems. Specifically, he uses simulation, optimization and machine learning techniques to enhance the design and operation of sustainable energy systems, electric vehicle grid integration as well as smart mobility. He received his MA degree in Mathematics and his PhD degree in Computer Science from Friedrich-Alexander-University in Erlangen-Nürnberg.
