Driven by a passion for designing systems that improve daily life, address complex challenges, and leave a lasting impact, Sarah has pursued opportunities that bridge technical expertise with real-world outcomes. At the Transportation Sustainability Research Center, she contributes to national studies on AI-powered traffic management and public transit efficiency. Her previous experience includes supporting construction delay analysis for large-scale infrastructure projects during her internship at Secretariat Advisors. This summer, she will return to the field as a Construction Program Manager Intern at Amazon.
Outside of research, Sarah serves as Vice President of ASCE at Berkeley, where she leads student engagement and professional development efforts. She is also committed to outreach and advocacy, having founded a Girls in STEM camp in her hometown to inspire and empower the next generation of female engineers. Whether in research, leadership, or mentorship, she brings energy, purpose, and a forward-thinking mindset to every endeavor.
