Driven by a passion for designing systems that improve daily life, tackle real-world challenges, and create a lasting impact, she has pursued opportunities that connect technical work with real-world outcomes. At the Transportation Sustainability Research Center, she contributes to national studies on AI-powered traffic management and public transit efficiency. She previously supported construction delay analysis for large-scale infrastructure projects during her internship at Secretariat Advisors. She will return to the field this summer as a Construction Program Manager Intern at Amazon. Outside of research, Sarah serves as Vice President of ASCE at Berkeley and is passionate about outreach, founding a Girls in STEM camp in her hometown to inspire future female engineers. Across research, leadership, and mentorship, she brings energy, purpose, and vision to every project.
